Are you registered to vote? (Registration Deadline is Tuesday, January 8)

Eligible voters can register to vote at the Registration Desk. 
Applicants must:
  • Be a citizen of the United States on the day of registration. If you became a citizen while living in the United States, you will need to know the date you became a citizen.
  • Be 18 years old by Tuesday, February 5.
  • Live at the registered address at least 30 days before Tuesday, February 5, 2008.
  • Display two pieces of identification. Identification must include one piece with a current address (neither need be a picture ID). Acceptable forms of I.D. include: driver’s license, State of Illinois I.D., Social Security card, utility bill in applicant’s name, employee or student ID, credit card, birth certificate, or mail postmarked to the applicant.
