Check your mailboxes! The new issue of Preview is out.

MailerWe recently sent out our September/October 2007 issue of Preview, the Library’s newsletter.  With this issue, we unveiled our fresh, new look.

Larger and styled like a newspaper, this new design provides detailed information about Library programs, services, and events in a new, easier-to-read format. Everything you found in the old Preview is still there, plus we brought back the monthly calendar. Like a newspaper, it brings you current Library events as well as in-depth articles. The table of contents allows you to find information quickly, with programs labeled and grouped by areas of interest. Inside, the handy pull-out calendar provides a two month overview of programs for adults, teens, and children.

Following the redesign of the building, which allowed the Library to make materials more accessible and expand meeting space for programs, we turned our focus to reorganizing the way we present information and resources to the community. We are working diligently to make finding everything we have to offer more intuitive and user- friendly. The first step in this process was the redesign of the Web site. This new Preview is the second step. We will continue to evaluate our communications and information formats in our ongoing commitment to better meet your needs.
