Holes by Louis Sachar

Holes Holes by Louis Sachar.  As further evidence of his family's bad fortune which they attribute to a curse on a distant relative, Stanley Yelnats is sent to a correctional camp in the Texas desert where he finds his first real friend, a treasure, and a new sense of himself.
Holes is an excellent book. Everyone will enjoy Holes. It has many adventures about a boy named Stanley Yelnats, and if he ever has a problem he blames his pig stealing grandpa named Elya Yelnats. Both boys and girls will enjoy it.

Book read and reviewed by Andy.
