Acquisitions Assistant - Collection Management Department

Part-time position. Responsible for entering on order records, creating purchase orders, data entry and searching, deliveries, ordering and receiving library materials, verifying invoices for materials and submitting claims when needed. Bachelors degree required. Dynix/Horizon experience a plus.  Bilingual a plus. IMRF benefits. Pay: $15.16 per hour. 22.5 hours per week. Monday – Friday. Daytime hours. Flexible schedule.

Circulation Assistant – Circulation Services Department

Two (2) part-time position available. Major duties include staffing service desk and related circulation duties. Customer service experience highly desirable. Computer skills required. High school diploma required. Required to pass a skills exercise on the alphabetical and numerical arrangement of library materials. Bilingual a plus.  $11 hourly pay.

Schedule #10 - 11 hrs average per week:
Monday   5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Alternate weekends (weeks A/C)
Saturday   9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday   12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Schedule #2 - 7.5 hrs average per week:
Friday  5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Alternate Sundays (weeks A/C)  Noon to 5 p.m.

Research Services Assistant - Research Services Department

This part-time position is responsible for providing basic information services: ready reference, reader’s advisory and community information and referral to the public.  Duties include staffing the Information Desk.  Bachelor’s degree required.  Computer skills required.  Bilingual a plus.  $14.65 per hour.

Schedule:
Tuesday 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. or 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Every other weekend:
Saturday  8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday  11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or Noon to 5 p.m.
